Research: Postcolonial literature and theory, Anglophone Caribbean literature, Black and Asian British literature, world literature, global modernisms, diaspora, migration, hemispheric American literature, and Anglophone postcolonial literature.
Teaching: Undergraduate courses include writing identity, Caribbean Literature in English, Seminar for Freshman: Immigrants and Exiles. Graduate courses include International Modernism/World Literature.
