Sandra is a visualization designer with the Institutional Effectiveness team. She holds a PhD in German and Comparative Literature from WashU and brings experience in higher education from the United States, Germany, and Japan as well as a broad knowledge base from her studies in biology, media studies, and literature. She leverages her training in narratology and her rigorous analytical thinking to create data stories for internal and external audiences. She specializes in Tableau-based dashboard design and is responsible for maintaining and expanding IE’s visualization and design standards.
