The Graduate Center (TGC)

The Graduate Center is a central hub dedicated to enhancing the academic development of all graduate and professional students at WashU.

Centrally housed in the Office of the Provost, The Graduate Center (TGC) partners with schools, units and offices across both the Danforth and Medical Campuses. TGC works closely with the Senior Vice Provost for Graduate Education and International Affairs.

PhD Student Representatives serve on the Doctoral Council for a term of two years. The Doctoral Council is a standing committee at WashU that is advisory to the provost and represents the faculty and students of schools granting the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
