gradSERU stands for Graduate Student Experience in the Research University. This survey invites Master’s and Doctoral students to reflect on various aspects of graduate life at WashU, including research and teaching experiences, career preparation, and health and well-being.

Population surveyed: Master’s and Doctoral students.
When conducted: in the spring of odd-numbered years.

Doctoral Exit Survey

The Doctoral Exit Survey is administered to graduating doctoral students; it gives them the opportunity to evaluate WashU, their doctoral program, faculty advising, and professional development, and to report on their plans for the future.

Population surveyed: Graduating doctoral students.
When conducted: January, May, and December.
