Betsy Sinclair serves as vice provost for innovation, co-leading WashU’s +AI Initiative and co-directing the Digital Intelligence and Innovation Accelerator (DI2). In this work she supports the university’s effort to harness AI as an accelerant for research, teaching, and impact across the region. Her portfolio includes supporting faculty, establishing shared research infrastructure, governance, and curricular transformation. She remains an active scholar of computational social science and of the use of AI in democratic institutions.
